My path

Absolute · community school

Today you learn.
Tomorrow you lead.

A path up the steps of your activity area — through masters’ live classes on the AbsoLive map. And the road to your own first class: a plan, an open class with a review, a pin on the map.

Demo: the paths on this site are samples. The pace is yours. The school is free; apart from ordinary server logs, the site collects nothing about you.

Three ways in

Who comes — and where they go

01

Grow in your own field

Mark the step you’re on now. The path page shows classes on the map, practice between them and an open class whenever you want to show what you can do.

You mark your step yourself — when you recognise yourself in the next line of the ladder. Your notes stay with you.

02

Start leading

If you know how, you have something to give. Five steps of trust: I watch, I co-lead, I lead a part, a first class with a mentor, my own on the map.

The outcome — your own class on the AbsoLive map, if you decide to publish it.

03

Build a programme

For masters and spaces: a cohort, an intensive or a seasonal school at an Absolute center — a selection of independent classes, to the school’s standard.

The outcome — a programme where each class is sold by its master in their own name, with the price and terms visible in advance.

How a path works

Step, classes, practice — and another step

The school does not sell lessons or teach them itself. It shows a route through masters’ live classes on the map, a rhythm of practice and a way to see your growth without tests.

  1. 01StepWhere you are now — on the 0–10 ladder of your activity area. By your own reckoning, no tests.
  2. 02ClassesLive classes by different masters on the AbsoLive map, matched to your step: in person, at your place, online.
  3. 03PracticeBetween classes — short practice and notes in “My path”, on your device.
  4. 04Open classYou show what you can do — at a master’s class or among your own people. Then comes a review, not a grade.

From step — to step

A sample shows how a path works. You can’t sign up for it: you sign up for classes with the masters on the map.

Teaching and learning — one role

You can lead sooner than you think

In most of AbsoLive’s ladders for individual activities, step 9 is about students: “Teacher”, “Coach”, “Instructor”. But you can run a first class sooner — for people two or three steps below you. Whoever still has the road fresh in mind explains it more clearly: that is how “near-peer” learning works.

Except for activity areas with risk — water, mountains and slopes, heights, martial arts, extreme sports: there, only as a class co-lead next to a master who has their own training and the venue’s permission, such as approval from the resort. And except for health and mental health: treatment, health improvement, psychotherapy, trauma work, dietetics, rehabilitation — the school does not teach how to lead such classes. Students at a first class are adults only.

How to start leading

What isn’t here

A school without selling courses

  • No diplomas, certificates or “graduates”: the school issues no education documents
  • No grading of people, no ratings or leaderboards — only your step, and you choose it
  • No promised results: there is no “master in 30 days” here
  • No money inside: prices belong to masters’ classes on the map, with no bundles, instalment plans or loans
  • No feed, no “no days missed” streaks and no marathons built to sell
  • No medical or “healing” programmes
  • No programmes for children in the first version: the school is for adults, 18+

The school in the Absolute group

What the school takes from the group’s projects and what it gives them. The links lead to the live sites; where a project is in demo, it says so.

App

“My path” — on your home screen

The school installs like an app and opens on “My path”: your step, practice notes, saved paths and your first-class plan. It works offline. Everything is kept only on this device — exported as a file and erased with one button.

On iPhone: “Share” → “Add to Home Screen”. On Android and in Chrome — the button above or the browser menu.
